Guided Tours

There are so many beautiful sacred buildings in the Midlands – and they are visited by thousands of school children, students and adults every year.

If you would like to find out more about the rich tapestry of faith traditions within British society and their respective places of worship within the region then you are certainly on the right page.

We can arrange a tailor made itinerary for visits to individual places of worship to suit your school/organisation's needs.
Please contact us to discuss your requirements and details of charges.

Training

We have just completed the 2018 Autumn Faith Guiding Training Course. Over
140 people of 8 different faiths have successfully completed the course with the
Faith Encounter Programme since 2007.

If you belong to one of the following traditions, you are welcome to apply: Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim or Sikh. We may be able to subsidize costs subject to funding.

Other traditions are not excluded if
there are sufficient numbers and an interesting place of worship to visit
e.g. Quaker Meeting House.

Faith Guides

Who is a Faith Guide?
Someone trained to lead a high quality educational visit to a place of worship.
It could be you at your place of worshp!

The visits create better awareness and help build good relationships in the localilty. With trained Faith Guides these visits are inspiring and fascinating experiences, benefitting the hosts as well as visitors.

Please contact us if you wish to become
a Trainee Faith Guide through FEP.
A bursury may be available in
certain circumstances.
